Introduction
I am sure everyone has atleast tried one historic battle ever since the game has been released and you got yout filthy hands on it. Well here is the strategy for each one. Its a detailed description and overview with ideas on how to excell each one and either keep history the same or twist it and turn it the way you want.
Most of us have seen the Senate's description of a faction who is currently neutral to the Senate. A curious phrase in that description says that the faction should be "bled dry" before attacking.
A curious reference, and one the Senate never quite explains. Ever thought about how to do this? It's a challenge, but a great diplomatic coup that can be a source of endless amusement back at your capital. It can also strengthen your faction's standing in the world a great deal.Z
Often factions will garrison a town with just a few units, and a straightforward siege and attack is simply the best method to take it. But sometimes factions will strongly garrison a town, with another army marching near it. You can, of course, build a bigger army than theirs and crush them. You can also go straight for a bribe. But those options may not be possible, or you may not want to risk smashing the town with your catapults. Maybe you just want a challenge.
Your general is the most important part of your whole army, and it's important that you use him well.
